Job description

Role Overview We are looking for a Supply Planning Business Architect to own the "Planning Transformation" initiative within Cisco's Supply Chain organization. This hybrid role (2–3 days a week) reports to one of the Cisco offices in San Jose, Austin, RTP or Guadalajara. Responsibilities Rewrite Cisco's planning playbook and establish a long‐term framework for operations Integrate and deploy agentic AI capabilities to modernize planning technology Translate business strategy into capability requirements and benchmark processes against industry best practice Serve as the critical liaison between Business and IT, aligning strategic goals with architectural changes to deliver measurable outcomes Collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams, IT, and senior leadership to drive innovation and strategic alignment Minimum Qualifications 10–12 years of supply chain experience with expertise in at least two of the following areas: Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling, Backlog Management, S&OP, NPI, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, or Purchasing 5+ years of dedicated project/program management experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field Demonstrated communication skills at all organizational levels, including senior leadership Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus Experience modeling business processes using industry‐standard tools and techniques Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree (preferred) APICS or Six Sigma Green Belt certification Strong enterprise‐wide perspective on business strategy, supply chain processes, capabilities, and governance Experience planning and deploying complex business and IT initiatives Salary and Benefits Salary range: $146,100.00 – $190,300.00 (U.S. and/or Canada locations, exclusive of incentive compensation, equity, or benefits) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with Cisco matching contribution Paid parental leave, short‐ and long‐term disability coverage, and basic life insurance Paid time off: 10 paid holidays per calendar year plus one floating holiday, one paid birthday day, year‐end shutdown, and up to 4 paid wellness days; 16 days of paid vacation per year for non‐exempt employees Additional paid time away for emergencies or family matters Optional volunteer days: 10 paid days per year Potential for Cisco restricted stock units and annual bonuses (subject to Cisco policies) Application Window The application window is expected to close on 07/31/2026.
