Job description

Adecco is assisting a local healthcare and wellness office in Brick, NJ in recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist paying $20.00/hour. This is an approximately 12-week temporary assignment working Monday through Friday, generally from 8:45 AM to 6:30 PM, although hours may vary based on business needs. This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service to patients and visitors.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, tech-savvy, and able to multitask effectively in a front desk setting. While experience in a medical or wellness office is preferred, candidates with strong customer service and administrative skills are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

  • Check patients in and out of appointments

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls

  • Distribute and collect intake paperwork

  • Perform accurate data entry and basic clerical duties

  • Scan documents and maintain organized records

  • Assist with general front office operations

  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive patient experience

Qualifications:
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor

  • Excellent communication and phone skills

  • Strong computer and data entry skills

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes

  • Reliable and dependable attendance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, medical office, chiropractic office, or wellness center experience preferred

  • Customer service experience in a professional office environment


Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
