Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Chief Operating Officer to serve as a senior organizational leader for a growing nonprofit organization. Partnering closely with the Board of Directors and fellow executive leadership, this individual will oversee day-to-day operations, spearhead fundraising efforts, and lead the organization's next chapter of growth - including a major facility capital campaign and a rebranding initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all fundraising, donor relations, and major gift cultivation efforts
  • Oversee and drive a multimillion-dollar facility capital campaign
  • Direct organizational rebranding and community marketing strategy
  • Manage HR strategy, culture, and talent development across the organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, and government stakeholders
  • Identify and outsource non-core operational functions to improve efficiency
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors and serve as a key representative of the organization

Ideal Background:
  • Proven experience as an operations leader who has run a comparably scaled nonprofit organization
  • Background in philanthropy, development, or donor-facing roles (e.g., Head of Philanthropy, Chief Development Officer)
  • Experience with Boys & Girls Club or similar mission-driven organizations is a strong plus
  • Track record of successfully leading capital campaigns and major fundraising initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills

Our Vision I started Peregrine Team with superior customer service and quality in mind. Going back to the basics. My team exists to challenge the lazy, idle and often sloppy recruiting and staffing teams out there. We see agency after agency spending less time with the people, not caring about what individuals are looking for when making a career move. Sourcing top talent is not easy in the current environment, but listening and caring about others will create trust, lasting partnerships and overall success. Whether you are looking for a job or looking for talent, we can help manage the process. We are a team of hunters, able to find and hire quality experienced professionals for any organization. We primarily specialize in placement of professionals in the Healthcare & Life Science space, but will take on any challenge. We simply do things differently.
