Position Overview
As a Flight Instructor at Vectored Approach, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of aviators through hands-on, high-quality instruction. What You'll Do
- Provide flight and ground instruction under Part 61 (and Part 141, if applicable)
- Prepare students for solo flight, knowledge tests, check rides, and license completion
- Maintain accurate training records and track student progress
- Deliver engaging and structured instruction for Private, Instrument, and Commercial pilot students
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight briefings focused on student growth
- Ensure all operations comply with FAA regulations and Vectored Approach SOPs
- Promptly report maintenance concerns and aircraft discrepancies
- Participate in instructor meetings, standardization sessions, and safety briefings
Qualifications
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) & CFII
