How long does it take to become a tile installer?

What is the 1/3 rule for tile?

The 1/3 rule for tile installation suggests that grout joints should be no wider than one-third of the tile's size to ensure proper adhesion and aesthetic balance. For example, for 12-inch tiles, grout lines should typically be around 4 inches or less. This guideline helps tile installers achieve a uniform and durable finish, especially when working with large-format tiles.
