???? The Role

As a Radioisotope Installation Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting CDL’s CardioNavix HUB operations. You will be responsible for the installation, removal, and management of Rb-82 generators within the CardioGen82 infusion system, ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance at every step.

This role operates with a high level of autonomy and requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.


????️ What You’ll Be Doing⚙️ Generator Installation & System Operation
  • Perform installation and removal of Rb-82 generators within CardioGen82 infusion systems
  • Operate infusion equipment safely during installation, removal, and quality control processes
  • Manage radioisotopes in accordance with established protocols and safety procedures
☢️ Radiation Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain strict compliance with NRC and state regulatory requirements
  • Follow ALARA principles in all handling of radioactive materials
???? Shipping & Generator Return
  • Prepare spent generators for shipment and ensure compliance with carrier regulations
  • Complete all necessary documentation for transport and return (including FedEx requirements)
???? Quality Control & Troubleshooting
  • Perform and document all required quality control procedures
  • Assist in troubleshooting generator or system performance issues
  • Maintain knowledge of hot lab equipment and QC standards
???? Collaboration & Field Support
  • Partner with Clinical Applications and operations teams to support HUB activity
  • Assist with in-services, training, and operational support as needed
  • Maintain professional communication with internal teams and field staff
???? Documentation & Accountability
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely
  • Ensure all installations and removals meet operational and safety standards
  • Work the hours necessary to complete installations and QC processes properly

✅ What We’re Looking For
  • Strong background in Nuclear Cardiology / Cardiac PET imaging
  • Hands-on experience with CardioGen82 infusion systems or similar hot lab environments
  • Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel nationwide as needed
