Job description

Role Snapshot

Location: Pomeroy, WA / Central Ferry, WA

Pay: $26.00–$32.00/HR

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (must be flexible, OT required)

About the Assignment

Support an agricultural cooperative that hauls and stores regional crops (including wheat). This temporary CDL-A position focuses on short, repeatable runs that keep the harvest moving efficiently.

Primary Duties
  • Operate a CDL-A truck on a dedicated shuttle between Pomeroy and Central Ferry
  • Transport grain and agricultural materials safely and on schedule
  • Use push-button systems for loading/unloading with minimal manual work
  • Occasionally assist with loading as required
  • Adhere to DOT rules and safety procedures at all times
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections; report issues promptly
  • Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and team
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Dependable, with strong follow-through for the full temporary assignment
  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours
  • Comfortable with repetitive short-haul driving and long hours
  • Safety-minded; good driving record preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Extended periods of sitting and driving
  • Light physical activity; minimal lifting
  • Ability to climb in/out of the truck cab
