• Residence in Cobb County is highly preferred, you must be able to float to any location in CCSD

Open Positions w/ Cobb County School District :

Floater Food Service Workers will be responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining food service areas in accordance with health and safety standards.

Their duties include:

Assisting with food preparation and presentation

Ensuring cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas

Handling food items safely and following sanitation procedures

Maintaining inventory of supplies and cleaning materials

Supporting customer service efforts by addressing guest needs professionally

Custodians will focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all facility areas.

Qualifications - CLEAR BACKGROUND & RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION (Positions not on bus line)

Their responsibilities encompass:

Performing routine cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers

Handling chemical agents safely during sanitation processes

Conducting heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment

Implementing floor care techniques including buffing and polishing

Adhering to safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents

Conducting general facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support operational efficiency
