PRIMARY FUNCTION: To assist in the daily routines and procedures in the Food & Beverage Department at the Legacy Arena.
PAY GRADE: $16.50 per hour
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary Work - Must be at least 16 years of age.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: High School or College Student
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED: None
Food & Beverage Department Role(s):
Concessions & Catering Worker
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and provide quick, courteous service during high-volume events
Take and prepare food and non-alcoholic beverage orders (popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, snacks, soft drinks, etc.)
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and cashless transactions accurately
Keep concession areas clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout events
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work as part of a team to manage long lines and maintain fast service
Upsell menu items and combo deals when appropriate
Address customer questions or concerns in a professional manner
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Basic math and money-handling skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally perform light lifting up to 15 lbs.
