Please do not apply unless you have car-hauler dispatching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and coordinate efficient trips based on vehicle capacity, route, mileage, timing, and revenue
  • Communicate and negotiate rates with brokers and shippers
  • Schedule and confirm vehicle pickup and delivery appointments
  • Verify addresses, contacts, operating hours, vehicle details, and special instructions
  • Provide drivers with bills of lading, route information, and load details
  • Enter and maintain accurate load information in the company’s trucking software
  • Communicate regularly with drivers, brokers, customers, dealerships, auctions, and other locations
  • Resolve scheduling, routing, load, driver, and broker-related issues professionally
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for every dispatched load

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the auto-transport and car-hauling industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong rate-negotiation and trip-planning abilities
  • Ability to read maps and plan efficient routes
  • Ability to evaluate rates, mileage, deadlines, and vehicle compatibility when building trips
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Working knowledge of computers, email, printers, and scanners
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and professional

Work Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet service required

  • Must be able to remain organized, responsive, and productive without direct supervision

No phone calls, please. Only applicants with qualifying car-hauler dispatch experience will be considered.
