Job Overview

Diamond State Masonry Inc. is looking for a skilled and safety-focused Boom Truck Operator to support our field operations across commercial, industrial, and government projects. This role is responsible for safely operating boom trucks to lift and transport materials on active jobsites. Key Responsibilities

As Boom Truck Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate boom truck to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct daily inspections of boom truck and lifting equipment before and after use.

  • Follow rigging protocols, load calculations, and safety standards on every lift.

  • Assist crews with material handling, loading, and unloading.

  • Coordinate with site supervisors and field teams to plan and execute lifts.

  • Comply with all OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and company safety policies.

  • Maintain accurate equipment logs and reports as required.

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with necessary endorsements.

  • NCCCO certification or equivalent boom truck/crane operator certification preferred.

  • Proven experience operating boom trucks or cranes in construction environments.

  • Knowledge of rigging techniques, load handling procedures, and safety standards.

  • Strong focus on jobsite safety, communication, and teamwork.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Reliable transportation and a professional, dependable work ethic.
