Temporary Blue Cherry Jobs (NOW HIRING)

A wholesale distribution center is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a second shift position working Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Job Duties:

• Lead the process for accurate receiving and shipping activity in the warehouse
• Operate warehouse equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, tow motors, cherry pickers, etc. when needed
• Perform all pre-operation inspections to ensure that the machinery is in working-order and fill out the inspection log
• Make sure all trucks are loaded on time and damage free
• Train team in the areas of safety, compliance, working effectively, and other areas
• Supervise a shift of 8 to 10 associates to ensure that direct reports are adhering to safety and operational processes
• Establish team goals and work with each Associate to achieve and exceed their performance goals
• Ensure that facilities are clean and safe by thoroughly inspecting all areas, promote teamwork, and foster the culture of the company
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• Must have previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience; Building products, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial distribution experience is preferred
• Forklift and powered industrial equipment and RF scanner experience is preferred
• Experience with computer systems such as Blue Yonder, and Solar Eclipse is needed
• Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious
• Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills while leading, motivating, and holding teams accountable
• Must have the ability to lift 50+ pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift while working in a fast-paced environment
