Bioinformatics Business Analyst

This role supports the direction, evolution, and adoption of enterprise bioinformatics platforms and analytical tools. Apply deep bioinformatics domain knowledge to translate scientific and public health needs into clear, actionable platform requirements, roadmaps, and product features. Partner with product managers, enterprise architects, and engineering teams to ensure bioinformatics platforms are mission-aligned, scalable, and user-centered. Apply a bioinformatics lens to gather, analyze, and translate scientific and operational requirements into platform and product capabilities. Elicit and document use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional or non-functional requirements for bioinformatics tools and data platforms. Support the development and refinement of product and platform roadmaps in collaboration with product managers and technical leads. Facilitate technical, functional, and operational discussions to bridge bioinformatics needs with implementable engineering solutions. Coordinate bioinformatics, data science, engineering, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and delivery. Participate in Agile ceremonies to identify dependencies, risks, and priorities. Support platform governance by helping define KPIs, success metrics, and outcomes aligned to bioinformatics mission goals. Assist with product demonstrations, stakeholder briefings, and user engagement activities to support adoption and feedback. Track requirements and delivery progress using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira. This position is located in Atlanta, GA.
