Job description

Competitive Pay: $23.00 per hour

Seasonal / Temporary: February – May

Part-time: Approx. 15 hours per week (afternoons, evenings, and some weekends to accommodate game and practice schedules).

Location: Conveniently located on-site in Richmond, CA (with occasional travel for away games).

You’ll create a competitive yet deeply supportive environment where sportsmanship and character matter just as much as the scoreboard.If you're ready to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact on our community, let’s win together!What you’ll be doing...As our Head Coach, you will mentor student-athletes, manage game-day logistics, and collaborate with the Athletic Director to ensure a seamless, high-impact athletic experience.
  • Design and execute dynamic practice plans focused on fundamental skills, strategy, and conditioning.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to unlock individual and team performance.
  • Adapt your coaching style to meet diverse learning styles and skill levels.
  • Lead the team during games, modeling flawless sportsmanship and positive behavior for players, officials, and fans.
  • Supervise and align junior varsity (JV) and assistant coaches with overall program goals.
  • Partner with the Athletic Director to manage league schedules, equipment, uniforms, and facility prep.
  • ​​​​​​​Foster a supportive team culture rooted in respect, discipline, and academic achievement.
What we’re looking for...
  • ​​​​​​​High school diploma / GED and 3+ years of high school coaching experience OR experience coaching community youth sports OR prior participation in organized competitive athletics (high school level or above).
  • ​​​​​​​CIF-approved coaching education certificate. Current First Aid & CPR / AED certification.
  • ​​​​​​​Ability to lift and move team equipment bags, water coolers, and training gear (up to 40 lbs); agility to move quickly across gyms, turf, and fields; and stamina to sustain high energy during outdoor afternoon practices and evening games. 
  • ​​​​​​​Ability to pass a criminal background check via Live Scan (fingerprints) and a standard Tuberculosis (TB) screen.
