Job description

Azure Cloud Engineer II
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise cloud infrastructure and platform services. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, automating, and maintaining Microsoft Azure environments in support of mission-critical business operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Azure infrastructure services, identity and access management, networking, automation, security best practices, and hybrid cloud integrations. This position requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, security, and application teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud-native services
  • Support hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure services
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Administer Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and firewalls
  • Manage Azure identity and security services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC, and MFA
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, availability, scalability, and cost management
  • Implement automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting technologies
  • Support Azure governance initiatives including policies, tagging strategies, and compliance standards
  • Configure and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

  • 3-7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering
  • 2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of:
