Job description

Why SSR

SSR Total IT is a 30-year-established MSP where engineers are the business, not a support function.

You'll own client environments, lead infrastructure projects, and act as a trusted advisor to 170+ small and mid-sized businesses, 3,000+ end users, and 2,000+ systems across Wisconsin. If you want a seat at the table where solutions are actually designed, not just deployed, this is that seat.

We work across five divisions, Procurement, Operational Excellence, Managed Services, Applications & Analytics, and Infrastructure & Security Engineering, so you'll touch a wide range of technology while helping clients modernize and secure their environments.

Our culture runs on five values: Client Driven, Elevate Others, Do the Right Thing, Thirst for Knowledge, and Professionalism.

You'll join a collaborative group of 10+ engineers who share knowledge and push each other to get better. •      Design, implement, and maintain servers, security, networking, firewalls, backups, and cloud platforms

•      Support and architect Microsoft 365 and Azure environments

•      Security tools (Sentinel One, KnowBe4, Duo, Qualys, Greenbone, etc.)

•      Certifications (Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Security+, etc.)

How This Role Fits Within Our Team

Help Desk → NOC → Engineers → Senior Engineers → Engineering Leadership

Our engineers focus on complex troubleshooting, infrastructure projects, and client-facing technical leadership, while frontline teams handle monitoring and first-response support.

Benefits

•      401(k) + Profit Share

•      Afterhours Bonuses

•      Quarterly Bonus Program (SSR Share)

•      Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance
