Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Senior Cloud / Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support PACOM J6 USPACOM J6 execute Mission Relevant Terrain-Cyber (MRT-C) Identification, Mapping, and Baseline across the PACOM AOR. In this role, specifically supporting the Data Science and Analytics team of this endeavor, developing Data Architecture & Pipeline Package, including Baseline Data Architecture Design Document, Data Pipeline & ETL Documentation, and Cross-Domain Information Sharing Plan.

Location:  Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD 

Responsibilities: Design, build, and manage the USINDOPACOM Azure Cloud environment hosting all MRT-C terrain and dependency data Implement scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using Azure managed services (Synapse, Data Lake Storage, Azure ML, Azure DevOps) Enforce built-in security across all computing and network infrastructure layers; manage user access across Impact Levels (IL4/IL5/IL6) Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent) Ensure cost governance and compliance with DoD cloud security requirements (FedRAMP, RMF)

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider Associate +14 years or HS+16 years of experience
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience building and managing Azure GovCloud environments at IL4/IL5/IL6
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with DoD cloud security requirements (FedRAMP ATO, RMF, NIST 800-53)
  • Able to develop a Data Architecture & Pipeline Package, including Baseline Data Architecture Design Document, Data Pipeline & ETL Documentation, and Cross-Domain Information Sharing Plan.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
