PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer 5, in Cedar Rapids, IA. Job ID#225304 Job Description: This position is for an experienced Software Engineer with either professional or personal project experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI. The position will be part of the Applied Research and Technology (ART) Aerospace Technologies Team designing and developing the next-generation avionics systems of the future. This position will be performed on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Primary Responsibilities:
-Develop, design and conclude experiments to accelerate business capabilities in Generative AI for safety-critical development
-Be obsessively passionate, inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
-Thrive in a collaborative environment and clearly communicate while confidently providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to multiple sub-projects You possess the following character traits:
-You have a strong sense of ownership and take initiative while empowering others to do the same

-You have minimal ego and understand that everyone has something to bring to the table regardless of experience
