Job description

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely handling products in our Delta warehouse. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace. 
 
This is a temporary, full-time three-month position with the possibility of extension.
 
Compensation:
Starting at $23 per hour with $1/hour shift premium
Experienced Candidates: $24.10 per hour with $1/ hour shift premium
You must bring 3 years of Clamp/Oversize handling experience
Guaranteed yearly wage progression
 
As a Warehouse Associate, you will
  • Be processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
  • Be receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
  • Operate the warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
  • Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness.
To be successful in this role, you should have
  • A current or previous Forklift certification.
  • A Stand-up/Sit-down counterbalance MHE experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to lift up to 50LBS
  • A Good oral and written communication skills
Work Environment
  • Working in a climate-controlled warehouse
  • Comfortable working with large items.
  • Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
  • Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes throughout the warehouse can be expected.
  • Schedule: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday
