Job description

Production Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Production Associate for a company based in Columbia, TN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your manufacturing experience while supporting a production team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency. This position is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
 
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Overtime is required. Weekend work as needed.
 
Production Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow work instructions carefully and operate equipment safely.
• Work with both foam and fiberglass products as part of the production process.
• Assemble product components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Use equipment properly and perform basic upkeep to support safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support overall production goals by completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
 
Production Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• Ability to complete a tape measure test successfully.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.
