How you’ll make an impact in this role

Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice.

  • Administer medication and treatment based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.
  • Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
  • Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Temporary Permit Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date -Or- Student Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
