Job description

Job Summary:

The Facilities Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations and janitorial needs of the office and manufacturing facilities.  This includes ensuring a clean, safe and well-maintained work environment for all team members and visitors. All employees are expected to uphold the company values and all company policies.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Models the values and beliefs of the company, respects the individual always, communicates openly and directly with team members in all positions  

·        Understands and accepts that an accident-free environment is not only possible but will be accomplished through strict adherence to all safety protocols and standards

·        Maintain cleanliness of all facilities, including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas and outdoor spaces

·        Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe work environment.

·        Regularly check and replenish supplies such as paper goods, cleaning materials and hand soaps and sanitizers while following proper replenishment standards

·        Address any facility-related issues or concerns, including reporting maintenance problems or handling emergency situations as they arise according to established policies and procedures

·        Report to facilities manager any issues such as equipment malfunctions or building repairs needed.

·        Participate in facility related projects, including improvements, relocations or upgrades when assigned

·        All other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

·        Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

·        Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing operations

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

·        Expected to work no less than 40 hours per week and any overtime as needed

·        Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

·        Car required to travel between two facilities.

Education and Experience:

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Experience in Janitorial services for larger facilities
