Job description

Job Summary: To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital. Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care. Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies and guides. Supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.
Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). BSN preferred; professional nursing certification preferred. 1 year of nursing experience required in specialty area. One year of traveler experience preferred. Cannot be a Full Time or Part Time CaroMont Employee. Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements. Current technical certificates such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as required by specialty area.
