JOB OVERVIEW
Perform a variety of accounting functions to ensure accurate reporting of financial statements. Responsible for various accounting responsibilities while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional integrity. Supports departmental financial reporting and assists with operational and administrative accounting functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote teamwork and work closely and efficiently with the accounting team.
• Provide quality service to all operational departments through effective communications and prompt response.
• Maintain a respectful and professional presence in the working environment.
• Meet various deadlines in Accounting and/or operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review F&B house checks daily and validate complimentary checks are compliant with company policy.
• Assist with invoice processing and regular statement reviews.
• Be able to assist transient guests by answering questions on their bills.
• Support daily accounting operations and month-end closing through various tasks assigned by accounting leaders.
• Be able to shift priorities and handle multiple deadlines.
• Assist Finance leadership with special projects, audits, and ad hoc assignments.
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays to meet accounting deadlines.
• May assist with other duties as needed or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience in an accounting clerical, front office, or reservations position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Ability to speak fluent English required.
Salary: $25 - $29
Temporary Assignment
This job requires ability to perform the following:
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Standing up and moving about the front office or other designated areas
• Communicating with other people
• Handling objects, supplies, boxes of merchandise, etc.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching
Other:
• Reading abilities are utilized often when reading invoices and work materials.
• Mathematical skills are used frequently to perform calculations, reconcile account balances, etc.
• Frequent contact with guests and outside vendors is necessary to resolve billing issues or answer questions. Strong customer service skills are required.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
