We are seeking a professional, dependable California BSIS-licensed Armed Security Guard to support a mobile security detail. This role requires safe, lawful driving as an essential function of the position and the ability to respond professionally in dynamic environments.
Essential Duties
  • Drive assigned security-detail personnel and/or clients safely between scheduled locations.
  • Conduct mobile patrols and maintain situational awareness of surroundings and routes.
  • Protect people, property, and sensitive information in accordance with company procedures and applicable law.
  • Observe, document, and promptly report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity.
  • Prepare accurate activity, incident, and vehicle reports.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, team members, law enforcement, and the public.
  • Maintain assigned equipment and comply with all firearm-handling, safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Perform other security-related duties consistent with the position.
Required Qualifications
  • Current California BSIS Guard Registration.
  • Current California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit.
  • Ability to perform the essential job duties, including operating a motor vehicle as part of the security detail. Driving is an essential function of this role.
  • Valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record, where required to operate the assigned vehicle.
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports.
Physical Requirements
This position may require extended periods of driving, standing, walking, observing surroundings, communicating by phone or radio, and using standard security equipment. The role may also require occasional movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
