Position Summary: The A&P role provides engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul in a variety of Airframe and Power Plant areas to deliver quality and value to a diverse set of aviation customers.This role provides support to maintain the project operations across Dynamic Aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of turbine engines and engine accessories
  • Support Defense and Technical Operations by maintaining engines utilized at Dynamic Aviation
  • Support PT6 engine overhaul and repair activities in accordance with approved maintenance data
  • Execute assigned work in accordance with daily production plans and department priorities
  • Work closely with supervisors, team members, and support personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
  • Accurately document maintenance actions and assist with maintenance tracking and recordkeeping requirements
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and approved procedures
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment while adhering to all safety requirements and best practices
  • Assist in identifying maintenance issues, process improvements, and tooling needs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance
  • Maintain a high level of communication with supervisors, team members, and other departments
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and serviceable condition
  • Complete assigned training and maintain required qualifications and certifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High school education required
  • A&P Certificate
  • Previous experience maintaining and working on engine components and systems
  • Quality and detail-oriented
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to follow directions and remain on task
  • Must provide own tools (tools listing to be provided)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to: lift, balance, and carry 50 lbs, crawl in and out of tight spaces, and predominantly work in enclosed hangars, occasionally in exterior weather conditions or elevated heights

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of PT-6, PW-123, Rolls Royce TAY-611, and CFM-56 engines
  • Previous engine run experience

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel as required - less than 5%

Working Conditions
  • Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm with a 1 hours lunch (12 pm to 1 pm)
  • Environmental considerations: Inside and outside of a non-air-conditioned aircraft hangar

Pay Band: $27.16 - $40.36 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
