Job description

An experienced X-Ray Technologist is needed for a full-time travel assignment in Metairie, Louisiana. This weekend block schedule is ideal for technologists with surgery and fluoroscopy experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Assignment Details

  • Location: Metairie, LA
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: Can start as soon as possible
  • Schedule: Weekend Block
    • Friday: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
    • Saturday: 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM
    • Sunday: 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM
  • Call: Rotating call required
  • Holiday Requirement: Yes
  • Floating: Must be able to assist in Surgery as needed
  • Equipment: PACS, GE, Philips, and Siemens
  • Scrub Color: Hunter Green
Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ year of recent X-Ray experience
  • First-time travelers are welcome
  • ARRT certification (required)
  • Louisiana State Radiologic Technologist (LSRT) license required (temporary LSRT accepted while permanent license is pending)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Epic experience (required)
  • Experience performing plain film radiography and fluoroscopy
  • Experience working in Surgery with C-Arm (required)
  • Experience with Enema studies (required)
  • Experience caring for neonatal, infant, and geriatric patients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
