Job Description

Required Skills:

Solid understanding and experience testing web services.

The SOA Tester will be responsible for the design, development and execution of SOA test plans and automated test scripts across all stages of the service development lifecycle following best practice processes and methods.

Will implement automated test scripts, including the design of the testing infrastructure, development of automated test cases and the frameworks in which they run.

Will work in a highly collaborative, cross functional development team and may take a lead role on various project activities.

Minimum 2 years practical experience with SOA test tools such as HP UFT, HP Service Test, SOAP UI.

Ability to create XML documents, XML Schemas, SOAP message and JSON message constructs - Knowledge of web based technologies, application servers and patterns.

Hands on experience with SQL queries, SQL programming and database technologies.

Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions.

Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams Preferred.

Practical experience with Middleware technologies such as Websphere Message Broker, MQ and Data Power.
