Travel MIG Welder

Job Description

  • Perform MIG welding on JLG baskets, A-frames, and related components in a high-volume production environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
  • Pass and maintain proficiency in a horizontal MIG welding test and written test covering welding fundamentals and safety.
  • Use grinding tools to clean, finish, and prepare welds and materials as required.
  • Measure materials accurately with a tape measure and apply basic math skills to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
  • Follow established fabrication processes to produce consistent, high-quality welds that meet production and quality standards.
  • Work efficiently on 3rd shift to meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
