Position Highlights:
  • Position: Surgical Technologist
  • Location: Cloverdale Outpatient Surgery Center - Winston-Salem, NC
  • Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday. No nights, weekends, holidays or call.
  • About our clinic: Our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center features eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, along with 32 beds dedicated to preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care. Our services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery.

What You'll Need:
  • Graduation from a Surgical Technology program (REQUIRED: Degree or Diploma)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • At least 1 year of Surgical Technology experience
  • Preferred: Certification in specialty area

How You'll Impact Patient Care:
Embrace this pivotal role in patient care as you work alongside the Registered Nurse. You'll support direct patient care, prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques. Key responsibilities of a Surgical Technologist include, but are not limited to:
Ensure top-notch patient care, safety, and advocacy by anticipating and addressing case-specific needs with sharp critical thinking under RN supervision. Uphold excellence by impeccably managing instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Showcase your effective and positive communication style with the team, colleagues, and patients, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Seize personal responsibility and drive for performance, growth, and development. Demonstrate cost-containment practices concerning instruments and inventory.
