Cargo Receptionist/Administration Assistant
I.K. Hofmann is looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant in Atlanta, GA for a Cargo facility.
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at our main building entrance. The ideal candidate will be organized, attentive, and dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming experience for all guests and visitors.
Receptionist/Administration Assistant is responsible for:

  • Greet visitors and manage guest sign-in procedures in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Handle main gate acceptance, including verifying visitor credentials and coordinating access
  • Issue and recover visitor badges, maintaining accurate records of all issued credentials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to facilitate smooth visitor coordination
Minimum Essential Functions:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.
Work Environment:
  • Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.
  • Workspaces are temperature-controlled
  • Work near others. They often share the same workspace
  • Often work indoors but may sometimes work outdoors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Basic computer skills including data entry and email communication
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk role is a plus

Shift hours:
Operation-Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm
Payrate: $16 an hour
