Job description

Mill or Lathe CNC Machinist needed - 36/hr! - Climate Controlled

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate up to three CNC Mills simultaneously.
  • Perform quality checks on parts using calipers and micrometers.
  • Ensure machines hold tolerances of +/- .5.
  • Deburr parts as needed.
  • Perform offsets and tool changes.
  • Adjust G&M codes as needed.
  • Enter production numbers into computer systems.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mills.
  • Ability to perform tool changes and offsets.
  • 2+ years of experience setting tooling in CNC machines.
  • 2+ years of experience setting up CNC machines based on blueprints.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting quality checks using micrometers and calipers.
  • Proficiency in data entry and navigating computer systems.
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience with GD&T is a plus.
  • 1 year of CAD programming experience is a plus.
  • 1 year of twin spindle experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
