Title: Infrastructure Support Technician (Manufacturing Devices/Env.) - Hybrid

Job Description
 
Scope of Position
  • The IMS Technician will be responsible for assisting the Senior IMS Analyst with day-to-day activities supporting the Newton Cable Plant.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers to gather and define system/solution requirements
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IMS devices, printers, scan guns, servers, etc.
  • Review and update the document repository in SharePoint for AI enablement
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems that may have a significant impact on the business
  • Support IMS projects
Required Education and Experience
  • 2-year degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, including experience supporting hardware and software components
Required Skills
  • Understanding of server and network infrastructure
  • Microsoft 365 including SharePoint and OneNote
  • Cybersecurity mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and management
  • Pervious experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
