Indotronix is seeking an

Onsite Job: Systems Engineer (Integration & Test) Level 2
Work Location: Rolling Meadows, IL 
Shift Timings: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Schedule: 9x80 A
Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
 

Job Description:

• Support the integration and testing of complex electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues throughout the integration and test lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to execute system integration activities.
• Develop and execute integration and test plans for complex systems.
• Support system verification, validation, and qualification testing activities.
• Assist in evaluating system performance and resolving technical issues.
• Document test results, analyze data, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support engineering activities using systems engineering principles and methodologies.

Must Haves:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field with 2+ years of related experience, or MS Degree in a related technical field.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple engineering disciplines.
 

Preferred:

• Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems.
• Experience performing Design Verification Testing (DVT), Environmental Qualification Testing, and EMI Qualification Testing.
• Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs).
• Experience with one or more of the following: EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RF/EW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, or RF test equipment.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles to develop and execute integration test plans.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience writing and executing test scripts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel.
• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance preferred.

Education/Experience:

Requires a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field with 2+ years of related experience, or an MS Degree in a related technical field. An Active DoD Secret Clearance is required to start.
