The role  

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents integrated with an existing Microsoft Fabric environment. You will work across Microsoft Copilot technologies, OpenAI APIs to create scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions that automate workflows, surface insights, and enhance business operations. 

This role requires hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, enterprise data integration, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and secure cloud-based AI deployments. 

This is a temporary, full time position onsite in New York City 5 days a week.

Role responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI agents using:  
    • Microsoft Copilot Studio  
    • OpenAI APIs and Azure OpenAI  
  • Integrate AI agents with existing Microsoft Fabric infrastructure including:  
    • OneLake  
    • Power BI  
    • Data Factory  
    • Lakehouse environments  
  • Build multi-step agent workflows capable of:  
    • Data retrieval and reasoning  
    • Task automation  
    • Workflow orchestration  
    • Conversational interactions  
    • Document analysis and summarization  
  • Develop secure API integrations with enterprise systems and databases  
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using enterprise data sources  
  • Create prompt engineering frameworks and reusable AI agent templates  
  • Optimize AI agent performance, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency  
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to identify AI automation opportunities  
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained across AI deployments
