Join Indotronix as a Milling Machine Machinist 1 in Palmdale, CA, and become an essential part of our precision manufacturing team. You'll operate state-of-the-art milling machinery, contribute to high-quality production, and develop your technical expertise in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in machining and manufacturing.
[Responsibilities]
  • Set up and operate horizontal, vertical, and universal milling machines for precision machining
  • Perform advanced operations such as contouring, boring, gear, spline, and keyway cutting
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to plan machining sequences
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, machine attachments, and set machine speeds/feeds
  • Conduct layouts, precise measurements, and quality checks to maintain tight tolerances
  • Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Monitor machining processes and support quality inspections
  • Follow established process control procedures and safety guidelines
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working overhead
