These developers are often brought in to assist with short-term projects, research tasks, or to fill in skill gaps within a team. Their responsibilities can include writing and debugging MATLAB code, developing algorithms, and creating scripts for data processing or engineering applications. Temporary contracts can range from a few weeks to several months, depending on the project's needs. This role is common in industries such as engineering, finance, academia, and research institutes.
