Volt is immediately hiring for a Press Operator in Visalia, CA.
Paid 1st lunch
As a Press operator, you will:
The Press Operator is responsible for safe and competent operation of the 6 color Comco and 4 color Kidder Flexographic press. The press operator is also responsible for safety, print quality, production, and housekeeping
  1. Perform all job setups as required
  2. Load and unload anilox rolls and plate cylinders
  3. Ensure printing plates are in proper order
  4. Register print
  5. Match color using computer and by eye
  6. Load and unload paper rolls
  7. Check print quality a minimum of twice per mill roll
  8. Complete all necessary paperwork
  9. Check pH and viscosity as necessary
  10. Ensure doctor blades are in working order
  11. Prepare for next print job
  12. Check template (blanks) with eye marks and color

This is a Fulltime Temp-to-hire opportunity.
Schedule: 12am-8am subject to weekends and overtime.
Must be able to train on 1st shift for 3 months 8am-4pm.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting

Hourly Rate: $20.01 per hour
