Position Overview
PRT Staffing is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Print Press Machine Operators. In this role, you will operate and maintain printing press equipment to produce high-quality printed materials while ensuring production efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. Ideal candidates will have manufacturing or machine operation experience and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust printing press machinery to maintain production quality and efficiency.
  • Set up equipment for production runs, including material loading, calibration, and machine adjustments.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections and color matching to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
  • Record production data, maintenance activities, and quality checks accurately.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Handle materials, chemicals, and supplies in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment, printing presses, or similar machinery.
