Job description

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for working on packaging machine lines in accordance with procedures and guidelines and is responsible for filling, securing, and labeling containers according to company and/or customer specifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)

  • Safely load and operate packaging and labeling equipment to specifications
  • Proficient at inner casing, master packing, loading cards and blisters
  • Understand lot coding processes and can verify lot code on product
  • Assist with training new employees and temporary workers
  • Understand quality expectations per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies
  • Display and promote company values (ASPIRE: Attitude, Safety, Passion, Integrity, Relationship, and Evolve)
  • Firm understanding and compliance with company's Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices
  • Regular attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Knowledge of GMPs, OSHA rules and regulations preferred
