Program Dates: September 8, 2026 - September 22, 2026
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:15 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Jewelry Making Instructor to lead an engaging, hands-on jewelry making program. The instructor will guide participants through the process of designing and creating their own unique jewelry pieces while introducing fundamental techniques, tools, and materials used in jewelry making.
This is a great opportunity for an artist, jewelry maker, crafter, educator, or creative professional who enjoys sharing their skills with others in a fun and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead engaging, hands-on jewelry making classes for program participants.
  • Teach basic jewelry making techniques such as beading, stringing, assembling, and finishing pieces.
  • Demonstrate the proper and safe use of jewelry making tools and materials.
  • Guide participants in creating a variety of jewelry pieces, which may include bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and other accessories.
  • Encourage creativity and individual expression while helping participants develop new artistic skills.
  • Provide clear, step-by-step demonstrations and individual assistance as needed.
  • Prepare and organize materials and supplies before each class.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe instructional environment.
  • Adapt instruction to accommodate participants with varying skill and experience levels.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and enjoyable class experience.

Qualifications
  • Experience with jewelry making, beading, crafting, visual arts, or a related creative field.
