Previous experience highly desired! Grease Solutions LLC is hiring a dependable, hardworking Overnight Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, physical position cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants and other food-service facilities. This is an overnight job and is not a typical janitorial cleaning position. Our technicians work with pressure washing equipment, degreasers, ladders, commercial exhaust hoods, fans, and kitchen equipment. Pay Starting at $20/hour, with opportunities to earn performance bonuses of up to $100 per week. Pay growth is available for employees who demonstrate reliability, efficiency, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently. Schedule - Primarily Sunday through Thursday nights - Overnight shifts - Start and end times vary depending on restaurant schedules - Some jobs require travel outside the immediate area - Occasional overnight/out-of-town routes may be required - Drive time is compensated according to company policy Job Responsibilities - Clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans - Operate commercial pressure washing and cleaning equipment - Apply degreasers and cleaning chemicals safely - Scrape and remove heavy grease buildup when necessary - Set up plastic containment to protect kitchen equipment and surrounding areas - Climb ladders and access rooftop exhaust fans - Clean work areas thoroughly before leaving each location - Take clear before, during, and after-service photographs - Complete digital service reports and job documentation - Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment - Work efficiently as part of a two-person or multi-person crew - Follow company and job-site safety procedures What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is extremely dependable. Showing up on time and being available for scheduled shifts is one of the most important parts of this position. Successful candidates should: - Be comfortable working overnight - Be comfortable getting dirty and working around grease, water, and cleaning chemicals - Be able to perform physically demanding work for several hours at a time - Be able to lift approximately 50 lbs - Be comfortable climbing ladders and working on rooftops - Have reliable transportation to the designated meeting location - Have a working smartphone for scheduling, photos, and job reports - Be able to follow detailed instructions - Work well without constant supervision - Pay close attention to cleanliness and detail - Be willing to travel when required - Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude Experience Commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning, pressure washing, restaurant maintenance, hood cleaning, industrial cleaning, construction, or similar experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Reliability and willingness to learn are more important than having previous hood-cleaning experience.
