Job description


FlexStaff is hiring a temporary Neuro Intervention Radiology Technologist to join our client's team for a three month assignment which could possibly be extended in the Brooklyn, NY area.
The Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) Technologist is responsible for providing technical and clinical support during diagnostic and therapeutic neurovascular procedures. The technologist operates advanced angiographic imaging equipment, assists physicians during neuro-interventional procedures, ensures patient safety, maintains sterile technique, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
This role requires expertise in vascular imaging, radiation safety, sterile procedural practices, and the management of patients undergoing complex neurovascular interventions.
Requirements:
  • Previous Neuro Interventional Radiology experience
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • Advanced Certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required.
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required.
  • Minimum of one (2) year experience performing radiologic exams, required.
