Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

This role involves operating production machinery to load and unload bolts and washers, ensuring accurate quantities are packaged into bags and boxes. You will support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by monitoring machine performance, maintaining consistent output, and contributing to efficient, high-quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload bolts and washers into the production machine according to established procedures.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure proper flow of materials and consistent production output.
  • Verify that the correct quantities of bolts and washers are placed into bags and boxes.
  • Perform basic assembly and general labor tasks related to the production process.
  • Inspect finished packages for accuracy and quality before they move to the next stage.
  • Follow all safety guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machine and production line.
  • Communicate any machine issues or production concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Train on first shift to learn machine operation and production processes, then transition to second shift.
  • Support team production goals by working efficiently and reliably throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment (excluding food manufacturing).
  • At least 1 year of direct, hands-on machine operation experience.
