You take ownership, enjoy solving practical engineering problems, and thrive in multidisciplinary environments. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop embedded systems, integrate sensors, and create scalable prototypes that have real-world impact. You'll play a key role in developing solutions across healthcare, assistive technology, and experimental engineering projects in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You will own electronic subsystem from concept through prototyping to final validation.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop embedded systems using platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and STM32
  • Create, test, and refine custom PCB designs
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and electronic subsystems into experimental platforms
  • Build Python-based data acquisition and analysis workflows
  • Support prototyping, debugging, and validation of engineering systems
  • Document designs, processes, and workflows to ensure reproducibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines
  • You will own electronic subsystems from concept through prototyping and final validation

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Solid documentation and communication abilities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining engineering rigor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
  • Experience in rapid prototyping or product development environments
  • Experience with biomedical, assistive, or sensor-driven systems
  • Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis workflows
  • Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
  • Masters degree in Electric Engineering and/or Computer science
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electronic prototyping and embedded systems

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong hands-on design, assembly and electrical validation expertise
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn by doing
  • Effective communication of technical concepts and results
