Job description

Basic Qualifications
Master's degree + minimum 3 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent relevant experience + minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
• Deploy and administer AWS EKS clusters in GovCloud/ECMA environments, including cluster lifecycle and node group management.
• Develop, version, and deploy Helm charts for multi-service application stacks.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu, including EKS, VPC, RDS, S3, and EBS/EFS.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, including pod failures, crashed-container logs, ingress and service issues, and resource tuning.
• Deploy and operate observability tooling, including Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus; create dashboards, alerts, and log-retention policies.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including container builds, security scanning, and merge-request workflows.
• Configure networking and ingress components, including ALB/NLB, path-based routing, TLS/cert-manager, and WebSocket/gRPC load balancing.
• Administer Windows Server environments, including domain-joined EC2 instances, Group Policy, RDP access, and Active Directory
• Administer Keycloak, including user and license management and authentication flows.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating containerized applications in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Strong working knowledge and demonstrated participation in an agile development environment for at least 2 years.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud environments and cloud-native design principles, including microservices, service mesh, publish/subscribe patterns, the strangler pattern, and distributed or federated control models.
• Working knowledge of basic networking: routing, switching, network overlays
• Basic knowledge of ML/AI, data analytics, data science, and data mining.
• Basic knowledge of cyber security best practice in application development and system design.
• Ability to apply AI to automation and process improvement.
• Awareness of commercial technology trends and willingness to propose relevant tools, ideas, and process improvements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and adapt priorities as objectives change.
• Basic knowledge of ML/AI, data analytics, data science, and data mining.
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE:
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman.
• Cloud and infrastructure automation: AWS, Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible.
• CI/CD and DevOps tools: GitLab, Nexus, Argo CD, Eggplant, Anchor.
• Operating systems: Linux (CentOS/RHEL, Alpine, Ubuntu) and Windows Server/Desktop.
• Monitoring and logging: Grafana, Loki, Prometheus.
• Agile collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence.
• Preferred ML pipeline tools: TensorFlow, Jupyter, Kubeflow.
• Preferred web development technologies: React, Angular, Vue, Ember, WebAssembly, Node.js.
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires local support at the GDMS Orlando office. Team and customer collaboration requirements may occasionally require travel, temporary adjustments to working hours, and flexibility to prioritize support as needed.
Salary Note

Combined Salary Range
USD $111,123.00 - USD $120,239.00 /Yr.
