They often fill in for permanent drivers who are on leave or help meet seasonal or unexpected demand. Temp drivers can work with various types of vehicles, such as trucks, vans, or cars, depending on the employer's needs. This role often requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and sometimes additional certifications depending on the cargo or vehicle type.
