Overview

Aerotek has an immediate opening for a Temporary Customer Support / Talent Engagement Representative at the corporate office in Hanover, MD. The duration of this contract is approximately 60 days.

Location: Hanover, MD 

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt), 10 Week Day Temp Assignment 

Compensation: $20.00/hour 

Reports To: Technology Program Manager 

About the Role 

We're looking for a Talent Engagement Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for candidates pursuing opportunities across multiple job openings. In this role, you'll conduct structured video interviews at high volume, following provided scripts and using purpose-built screening technology to evaluate candidates efficiently and consistently. Interview scheduling is fully handled through automated campaigns, so your time is focused where it matters most - talking with candidates and assessing fit. 

You'll play a critical part in keeping our hiring pipeline moving and ensuring every candidate has a professional, positive experience. 

What You'll Do 

  • Conduct approximately 50 structured video interviews per week across multiple open positions 
  • Follow provided interview scripts closely to ensure every candidate is screened consistently, objectively, and in compliance with our process 
  • Speak with each candidate about multiple job opportunities they may qualify for, helping match their skills and interests to the right openings 
  • Ensure all data captured during calls - screening outcomes, candidate qualifications, availability, and interest - is entered accurately and completely into our ATS 
  • Use company-provided screening technology to conduct and document interviews 
  • Deliver a professional, welcoming candidate experience that reflects well on our brand 
  • Meet weekly interview volume, quality, and documentation targets 

What You'll Bring 

Required 

  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional on-camera presence 
  • Comfort conducting back-to-back video interviews in a structured, high-volume environment 
  • Ability to follow interview scripts and evaluation criteria consistently across many conversations 
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, especially in documentation and data entry 
  • Reliability and time management - the schedule is built around consistent daily interview blocks 
  • Comfort learning and working in new technology platforms 

Preferred 

  • Experience in a high-volume call environment (e.g., call center, customer service, inside sales, or phone-based support) 
  • Experience working against weekly volume or productivity goals 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Consistently completing ~50 quality video interviews per week 
  • High script adherence - every candidate gets the same consistent, compliant screening experience 
  • Complete, accurate system records for every call, with no missing data 
  • Candidates report a positive, professional screening experience and leave aware of the opportunities that fit them 

Compensation & Schedule 

  • $20.00 per hour, non-exempt (overtime eligible per applicable law) 
  • 40 hours a week, schedule TBD
