How You Can Help Us Make a Difference Are you organized, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys helping people navigate processes and find answers. In this temporary role, you'll provide administrative and technical support while serving as an important point of contact for residents, customers, County staff, and other agencies. Your work will help keep daily operations moving-from answering questions and maintaining records to processing permits, service requests, work orders, and inspections.

You'll assist customers with service requests, inspection requests, and other department services by reviewing information for accuracy and completeness, entering and updating records, and providing required documentation. You'll also create and research service requests and work orders, schedule inspections, communicate information to field staff, and keep customers informed about the status of their requests and next steps. In addition to technical support, you'll perform a variety of administrative responsibilities, including answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining databases and files, processing mail, and other office functions.

You may also help maintain official records, compile data, and support department projects and activities. Customer service is at the heart of this position. Whether you're helping someone by responding to a service request or complaint, coordinating an inspection, or assisting a coworker, you'll provide clear information and help connect customers with the resources they need.
