Job description

This is a temporary to permanent in position that is in partnership with SPS Staffing. By applying to this position, you agree to be contacted by SPS Staffing directly.Role SummaryCleanFiber is seeking dedicated and dependable Manufacturing Associates to join our high-energy production team in our flagship facility. You will play a key role in producing high-quality cellulose insulation using our innovative, sustainable manufacturing process. Full on-the-job training will be provided.Essential Functions Production OperationsMonitor machinery used in shredding, fiberizing, and treating recycled corrugated cardboard.Feed raw materials into production equipment safely and efficiently.Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance of equipment.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain production standards.Safety & HousekeepingAdhere to all plant safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout, and fall protection protocols.Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with 5S standards.Participate in safety training and actively contribute to a safe work environment.Promptly identify and report safety concerns or equipment hazards.Material Handling & InventoryMove raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.Safely load and unload materials as required.Maintain accurate documentation of materials consumed and produced.Attendance & CommunicationMaintain regular and reliable attendance to support production needs.Arrive on time and ready to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors.Report production issues, delays, or equipment malfunctions promptly.Complete required documentation such as batch records, downtime logs, and production checklists.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs consistently throughout the shift.Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.Why Join CleanFiber?CleanFiber makes high performance cellulose building insulation from recycled corrugated cardboard boxes, using a unique and patented process.
